Provide First Aid
Previously known as Apply first aid and Senior first aid. Provide first aid is the workplace level 2 Australian standards for the workplace first aider.
This course provides participants with the knowledge and confidence to administer first aid care and treatment in the workplace or in personal situations. Provide first aid covers adults, children & babies in a wide range of emergency situations.
Provide CPR
Our Provide CPR courses provide participants with the knowledge, certification, and confidence to administer CPR in the workplace or in personal situations. Provide CPR courses are carried out on adults, children & babies.
First Aid for Childcare
This course includes Provide first aid and Provide CPR.
The course provides the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to infants, children, and adults.
First Aid for Childcare is designed for educators and support staff working within an education and care setting who are required to respond to a first aid emergency, including asthmatic and anaphylactic emergencies.
This unit of competency has been approved by ACECQA and meets the requirements of “First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis”. http://www.acecqa.gov.au
Perform Rescue from a Live LV Panel
The live lv panel rescue course covers the performance of rescue procedures from live Low Voltage (LV) apparatus, not including overhead lines and underground cables in the workplace. It specifies the mandatory requirements of rescue from a live LV panel and how they apply in the context of transmission, distribution, or rail work functions. It encompasses responsibilities for, health, safety and risk management processes at all operative levels and adherence to safety practices as part of the normal way of doing work
The course includes Provide CPR and provides participants with the knowledge and confidence to administer CPR in the workplace or in personal situations. CPR is carried out on adults, children & babies.
Specific licensing requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training, should be obtained from the relevant state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authority
Provide Advanced First Aid
Provide Advanced First Aid provides the participant with the skills and knowledge required to provide an advanced first aid response, including management of the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
The training for this course applies to workers who may be required to provide, coordinate, and manage a first aid response across a range of complex situations, include community and workplace settings.
Provide Advanced Resuscitation
The advanced resuscitation course will provide the participant with the skills and knowledge required to use specialised equipment in the provision of resuscitation in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines.
This unit applies to workers who may be required to use specialised equipment to provide resuscitation in a range of complex situations, include community and workplace settings.
Asthma & Anaphylaxis
Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
The Asthma and Anaphylaxis course will provide you with the skills and knowledge to recognise treat and manage a severe life-threatening allergic reaction, anaphylaxis.
Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace
This course covers the knowledge and skills to recognise the clinical signs of asthma and how you can identify and respond to an asthma emergency.
