Established in 2011 and based on the Sunshine Coast, Encompass Safety works with businesses all over Southeast Queensland and as far north as Wide Bay Burnett and Bundaberg.

Safety Consultancy and Management System Auditing

Steve Fitzpatrick

Steve has a construction background from the United Kingdom and Australia. Also, he has practiced as a safety consultant for the past 20 years. Based on the Sunshine Coast, Steve works with construction, manufacturing, bus, food production, outdoor recreation and the arbour industry. Furthermore, Steve’s experience is working with small to medium-sized businesses. Assisting them to achieve the standard required to work with tier-one construction companies and on mining and government contracts.

Recently Steve has held positions as Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Manager for a civil construction company working within the oil and gas industry. Also, working for a major Queensland landscape company. Whilst working for both of these companies, Steve developed, implemented and facilitated both companies through ISO certification for their safety, quality and environmental management systems.

Registration

Steve is a certified Occupational Health and Safety professional with the Safety Institute of Australia and registered auditor with Exemplar Global (Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental and Quality). Now, both these registrations have specific qualifications and experience entry requirements, with workplace hours and professional development to maintain currency.

Social Responsibility

Pro Bono Services Delivered

Health and safety can be just as complex for volunteer organisations. Encompass Safety provides health and safety work pro bono to local community organisations and charities. To apply for these services, contact Encompass Safety.

Encompass Safety assisted with the Workplace Health and Safety Council requirements for the annual Bli Bli Neighbourhood Watch Nambour 6 Skate Park Competition.

The Skate Park Competition is funded by Bli Bli Neighbourhood Watch Nambour 6 and supported by the business community. It is a free event for the youth in our community, to keep them off the streets and give them an awareness of the work that Neighbourhood Watch does within our community. It is held annually on the last Sunday in May.
