The Cert IV Work Health and Safety course is considered as an entry-level qualification for the role of a Health and Safety Advisor/Coordinator. However, it is also the basic knowledge required for company officers, as well as middle and frontline managers.

This program can be delivered as a 5-day course or can be customised to an in-house course and may be delivered over several months.

Recent changes to Queensland Workplace Health and Safety law mandates training for health and safety representatives (HSRs).

The course duration is 5 days, which can be conducted over a number of weeks to minimise workplace disruption. The representatives’ refresher course is required every 3 years and requires a 1-day course.

Fire Safety Adviser
The Fire Safety Adviser Training course prepares personnel with the skills required to act as a fire safety adviser. During, day-to-day matters and also during an onsite emergency, as required in the Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008. Our Fire Safety Adviser course is conducted over 2 days (1 day for Fire Safety Adviser refresher).

Fire Warden 
Our Fire Warden course provides participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to perform the role of a Warden within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) structure. As a result, this course complies with the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 and the Australian Standard (AS) 3745 2010 Planning for emergencies in facilities.

Fire Extinguisher – Confine Small Workplace Emergencies
Fire Extinguisher Training is for anyone who works in a workplace in Queensland. Importantly, the course is designed to equip building occupants with the skills and knowledge to prevent and respond to an emergency situation in their workplace. Also, this course meets the requirements of the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 for general evacuation and first-response evacuation.

Flexible and face-to-face training can be provided and includes:

• CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation), including defibrillation.
• Providing First Aid (equivalent to Senior and Apply First Aid courses).
• Advanced Resuscitation (Oxygen).
• Advanced First Aid.
