Fire Training

Encompass Safety can assist your business with accredited and non-accredited fire training, including fire equipment, warden training and evacuation exercises.

Fire Extinguisher Training

Fire extinguisher training allows your staff to become familiar with the types and workings of portable fire extinguishers and other first-response equipment and meets the requirements of the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008 for first response training. The training will include:

  • General Evacuation Instructions for the building, including RACE.

  • Fire principles include fire triangles and classes of fires

  • Fire extinguisher training includes types of extinguishers, maintenance and inspection, practical/simulated scenarios including PASS, and spill kits (optional).

Fire Warden Training

Our Fire Warden Training is based on the requirements of the company’s fire and evacuation plan and meets the requirements of the Building Fire Safety Regulation 2008.  The training will include:

  • General Evacuation Instructions for the building, including RACE.

  • Fire principles include fire triangles and classes of fires

  • Fire extinguisher training includes types of extinguishers, maintenance and inspection, practical/simulated scenarios including PASS, and spill kits (optional).

  • The fire and evacuation plan, the roles/responsibilities, and the identification of the emergency control organisation

  • Responding to the alarm

  • Evacuation coordination

  • Post–evacuation activities

  • Evacuation scenarios
